Wendy H. Price, the President of WHP Research, has more than 25 years of experience in quantitative and qualitative market research, including design, analysis, implementation, program development, training, business planning, focus group moderation, executive interviewing, and presentations. She has the demonstrated ability to successfully increase revenue, generate system improvements, and create recommendations based on research studies, observations, and evaluations.
Before founding WHP Research in 2002, Wendy was the Research Director at HMSHost Corporation (a former division of Marriott Corporation), where she managed all of the research efforts for Food and Beverage and Retail Concessions at over 150 airports, travel plazas, shopping centers, and entertainment venues. She also designed and executed company-wide mystery shopping and customer response programs. Wendy worked nearly 13 years at Marriott Corporation and HMSHost, conducting research that has led to many of the branded concepts now commonly found at airports and travel plazas.
Wendy also directed marketing research projects at Capital One and General Mills and has worked at Elrick & Lavidge, Market Facts and two advertising agencies.
Wendy earned a Masters of Marketing Research (MMR) from the University of Georgia in Athens and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing (BS) from Indiana University in Bloomington. She is a graduate of the Leadership Excellence Institute, a certified Focus Group Moderator, and has spoken at many industry conferences.
She has been an active member of the American Marketing Association since 1985 and the Airport Minority Advisory Council since 2002.
